DOLCE down
The DOLCE brand is synomymous with luxury and quality. Selected with precision and controlled by independent laboratories, the down-fill used is by far one of the fluffiest and cleanest of its class. Found in Europe and cleaned in Germany, we use a magnificent white down and a majestic white goose-down, both certifiably cleaned in the state of art processors with Oeko-Tek and Down Pass facilities.
For consumers that prefer a down alternative product, DOLCE has an exclusive, pure, hypoallergenic microfiber meticulously chosen by us to ensure its softness and silkiness. Once processed, products are crafted at our Montreal factory. The result is comfort, warmth, finesse and quality duvets and pillows.

DOLCE shell
As a result of numerous research and advanced technology, DOLCE uses both baffle-box and sewn-thru shell constructions. Baffle box is quite unique because of the use of crab trap openings which keep the down in a semi-closed space under pressure. The air circulates freely and offers an incomparable calmness. On the other hand, the sewn-thru shell completely separates the down ensuring no shifting from one box to the other.
One final important aspect to DOLCE is the finishing. The cottons used must be long-fibre cottons with single yarns to ensure consistency and durability. The use of the 400 thread count Sateen, certified Oeko-Tek, guarantees a light-weight, soft, smooth and breathable product.
Wash and care instructions
Note that washing can be done at home in a washing machine.
Attention, the duvet should enter the washing machine without having to force to avoid crushing the down and damaging the fibres. If not, it is best to go to a laundromat where you will find washing machines with superior capacities.
To wash your down duvet, use only natural or soft laundry detergents, avoiding any softening products that damage the down. Set the washing machine program to 40° and allow for a delicate draining cycle.
Once out of the machine, you can opt for free drying that will ensure the freshness of your quilt. Tap the duvet regularly to divide and separate the down inside the duvet. For faster drying, place your quilt in the dryer with a gentle heat below 50°. To help the down to separate well, integrate two or three drying balls into your dryer.
